The Black Bothy is one of our favorite designs — a cosy, handcrafted shepherd's hut brought to life with rustic charm and thoughtful detailing. Designed by our small team in the Highlands of Scotland, the interior, known as Thistle Bloom, features a natural pine finish paired with bespoke thistle-patterned upholstery that flows beautifully into the handcrafted kitchen. This signature fabric sets the tone for a space that’s both welcoming and unique.

We added a playful and practical touch with alternating dim-out fabric blinds, which bathe the hut in a soft, warm glow. The living area centres around a Chilli Penguin Chilli Billie woodburner, perfect for creating that snug, fireside feeling all year round.

Finished to our exceptionally high standards, The Black Bothy has been a firm favourite among customers, inspiring several follow-up builds with customised interiors — from Highland tartans to autumnal oak leaves.
